Contingency Plan For my final project I plan on making a promotional video for a photographer. This will involve a lot of locations and equipment where there can be possible disturbances. If I do come across any errors or problems I will have to overcome them by either thinking of a solution which can be solved then and there or re-scheduling the shoot for another day. If there are any issues with my equipment while filming with either the video camera or still I will either have to borrow or hire out a camera in time to shoot another behind the scenes or try and fix the solution myself. With some locations I may be filming footage outside where I will have to take precautions depending on the weather for that particular day. If it is raining we will have to re-schedule or change the location all together. If my original idea for my final project does not go to plan I will substitute it for another idea of mine, for instance to create a promotional video for the car company, Paragon Design UK LTD. This company has already accepted my offer to produce a promo video for them and are willing to be my backup plan. With this idea I will focus on the cars which they specialise in, Jaguar XKs and capture the cars movement from a point of view shot using a GOPRO camera. I will also being using a Z1 camera which will be used to capture the established shot and any other angles and shots I wish to include. If any issues do occur with this project I will have to work around them by either rescheduling the shoot or to carry on and work around the situation. With this shoot there will be a variety of locations where while filming problems can occur such as the weather. If it does take a turn for the worst I will have to work around it and think of another solution and improvise.
