“Rick Beltram has the talent and experience to lead our party” said Samuel Harms,
Chairman, Greenville County GOR. He continued, “This job is not for someone
who is expecting to get on-the-job training,
‘The Spartanburg County Republican Party has been successful with fund raising,
candidate recruitment, outreach, technology, ballot box wins, many visits by
Presidential candidates, media attention, and grassroots training. Long before this
opportunity became available I have been working with other counties to develop
and execute successful programs”, said Beltram. He continued, “I believe in the
team concept. Everything that we have done in Spartanburg has been with a
Volunteer team, As a result, much has been accomplished”,

“The SCGOP has been successful and Rick has the tools and experience to continue
the success with his proven record in Spartanburg. As a House member I know that
Beltram will work well with the South Carolina Legislature”, said Representative
Steve Parker of House District 37.
A nine-point plan has been outlined:
1. Looking forward to evolving opportunities for the SCGOP
Continue the success of programs already in place
Prepare for 2010 election
Pat in place regional field directors to assist and develop county programs
Utilize technology advances
Recruit candidates for pick-ups in 2010 and 2012 elections
Outreach — minorities and young voters
Continue to be a good fiscal steward

Finally Beltram stated “I have been most fortunate to have long-developed
relationships with grass roots lenders across all of South Carolina. Today, I
announced the co-chairs of my campaign and the varlous team leaders. ‘This will be
4 grass roots campaign with many active volunteers, We have a local team of 25
already at work as we spread the message to all the counties. Many more pledged
