    A Peek at this Week


    Literacy
    We will be reading a story entitled Life Cycle of a Pumpkin. We will also be working on recognizing the difference between fact and opinion statements in our reading. In addition, we will be continuing to add details/ adjectives to our writing. Example: The bright, yellow sun is shining The adjectives are bright and yellow because they are describing the sun.

    Math
    This week, we will be working with estimating numbers. The students will be practicing their rounding skills with math games and through the use of a number line. Ask your students about the estimation hill, I am sure they would love to tell you about what they learned!
