THE DELTA KAPPA GAMMA SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL Theta State Chaper Lambda Chapter

Lambda met in the home of Connie Osborne in Lovington on February 4, 2013. A delicious meal was enjoyed by Anne Chaffin, Maribel Martinez, Linda Luker, Mary Jean Reese, LaVerne Chaffin, Cathy Jones, and Connie Osborne. Anne Chaffin called the meeting to order and Cathy Jones read an inspirational challenge to the group. The January minutes were approved and will be filed. The treasurer's report was approved and will be filed for audit. There is $2842.65 for chapter use. Unfinished Business: The Theta State Convention in Hobbs, April 26 to April 28, 2013 was discussed. Theta State President, Pat Burnett, has been extended an invitation to the Founder's Day meeting on May 11, 2013. This meeting will be in Hobbs. New Business: SW Regional Conference will be held in Branson, Missouri, July 17 - 20, 2013. Bring a B.A.G. - "Bring A Gift" for the Emergency Fund to Branson was tabled at this time. The next meeting is at Ranchers Restaurant, Hobbs, on March 4, 2013. The meeting was adjourned. The program was working on crafts for the Theta State Convention.
