    Dear Parent/Guardian Further to our previous communications we are writing with a reminder and advance notice of closure due to transferring to the new buildings. As you are aware the 54m new Academy Buildings open to the students on Wednesday 27th February 2013. The present buildings effectively shut down from Monday 25th February 2013. Staff have to pack and move equipment and resources from the old buildings to the new. In addition staff have to undertake training on the new facilities and ICT equipment in readiness for the opening on 27th February 2013. To enable this to happen the following days have been designated as transfer days Friday 15th February 2013 The Academy will close at 1pm to enable the packing and removal process to begin. Lunch will be provided as normal. In addition if you wish your son/daughter to remain on site until 3pm we will be able to accommodate them. Please inform your son/daughters form tutor if you wish this to happen. Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th February 2013 The Academy is closed to all students. These days will be used by staff to prepare for opening on Wednesday 27th February 2013. Wednesday 27th February 2013 Normal timings apply. In the meantime if you require any additional advice or information, please do not hesitate to contact us. Yours sincerely
