District 38 Tournament Host Requirements

1) Fill out Request for Tournaments 2) Proper Insurance for Tournaments 3) District Approved Field 4) Be a League In Good Standing 5) Must have the following for T.O.C. / All District / District & Section All Star & Select Tournaments: a) Field Maintenance people must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game b) Scorekeeper must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game c) Announcer must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game d) Umpires should be there at least 30 minutes prior to game e) Snackbar Personel must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game f) First Aid Kit g) Balls for Games h) Awards for 1st & 2nd Place Teams i) May conduct 50/50, sell shirts, * photos, raffles etc. to help offset tournament costs 6) Have the following at each game above the Section Level of play: a. Field Maintenance people must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game b. Scorekeeper must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game c. Announcer must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game d. Snackbar Personel must be there at least 30 minutes prior to game e. First Aid Kit f. Balls for Games g. May sell shirts, * photos, raffles etc. only with approval of District Administrator. District conducts 50/50. * Photographer will be placed on field by Tournament Director & Umpire Only 7) District 38 rules found on the District Web-Site under Handouts, along with the Little League Rule Book will be enforce for all Tournaments, Except The Inter-national All Star Tournaments. The DA will have the final say in any disputes during these games. 8) International Tournament Games will use only the rules set forth by the International Tournament Committee and they will have the final say on any disputes. I have read the District Rules including those for Tee Ball and Farm Divisions and understand them. I have gone over this with the District Administrator and fully understand what is expected of a Host League. I understand that the DA sets the Brackets and any changes must be approved ONLY by the DA.
