Solitary epidermolytic acanthoma

Hyperkeratosis, hypergranulosis, vacuolization of upper epidermis

Hyperkeratosis, hypergranulosis, upper and mid epidermal vacuolization

Epidermolytic acanthoma Clinical: Solitary or isolated epidermolytic acanthoma clinically resembles a wart, nevus or seborrheic keratosis. Common location: scrotum, head, neck, leg. Lesions may be multiple. Similar histologic changes are seen in congenital bullous ichthyosiform erythroderma, linear epidermal nevus, epidermolytic palmoplantar keratoderma, focal epidermolytic hyperkeratosis. Clinicopathologic correlation is required.
