    Dear Larissa and Keara, Your letter requesting comment on the Apollo program has been received.

    My comment is quite simple and may be copied into your report. The Apollo program, just as the human explorations throughout history, is but the next step for we humans in discovering and expanding our knowledge of the universe we inhabit. We will, in due course, expand our excursions deeper into our solar system, visiting the other planets and, eventually, going beyond our solar system deep into our own galaxy and even beyond. Of course, this presumes that we will learn to live on our home planet sustainably, and to live cooperatively in peace with our Earthly neighbors.
