After many ideas and different decisions about our murder weapon, we decided on the knife for many reasons: The knife has a lot of history in horror films, and we enjoyed the idea that we are bringing back and using the stereotypical murder weapon, and consciously using the original and conventional weapon that people who have grown up watching horror films will enjoy After years of horror films, the audience began to find the original killer with a knife dull and boring, and wanted something original. There have been many different horror films since then, such as Shaun of the dead, final destination, and the classic scream. However, since all of these different horror films have been released, we wanted to visit the classic ideas of horror, and bring back the idea of one killer, with the classic but very much loved knife. The knife is a simple weapon, and we enjoyed it use in scream so much, that we decided to use the same murder weapon that they used.
