February 11, 2013 Dear Preschool Parents and Caregivers, This will be a very busy week, as we get ready

for the Lenten season and St. Valentines Day. Activities will include: making Valentine crafts having Valentine exchanges (MWF/Wednesday, T&Th and M-F/Thursday) learning about letter Rr (T&Th) learning about letter Ss (MWF) learning about letters Oo,Pp,Qq (M-F) Joining in special Lenten activities Taking home boxes for St. Vincent de Paul donations Discussing and hearing stories about compassionate people (The children may bring in their Valentine boxes any day this week via backpack.) The afternoon class has finished the The Emperor and the Nightingale and will be putting on the play this week. Their next Happily Ever After book is The City Mouse and the Country Mouse. When the weather requires boots, please send some shoes to be worn inside the classroom. Thanks. (There is no school this Friday, February 15 or Monday, February 18.)
