Suspensibility WP
1 Abstract of method Make the testing sample for available concentration suspension by standard hard water & settle for 30 min in graduated flask, under control condition, determinate the content of a.i in upside 90% liquid, then calculate the suspensibility(%). 2 Reagent
before use. Calcium carbonate: dry for 2 hours on the temperature 400
(4) Sodium hydroxide solution: 0.1mol/L (5) Ammonium hydroxide solution: 1mol/L (6) Methyl red indicator: 1g/L (7) Storage solution: 2+ Solution A: c(Ca ) = 0.04mol/L Solution B: c(Mg2+) = 0.04mol/L (8) Standard hard water: 342mg/L, calculated by calcium carbonate 3 Instrument
Graduated flask: 250mL with ground-in glass cap. Glass pipette: 40cm length, 5 mm internal diameter. Constant temperature water bath: 301 Stopwatch. 4 Testing step Weight appropriate testing sample M1g (to the nearest 0.0001g) into gradusted flask which filled with 50mL standard hard water (301) & shake it for separating, then add 301 hard water to scale line & put on the cap. Reversal the flask 30 times in 1min, the last time stay for 2 s. Open the cab, put the flask into constant water bath avoiding light for 30min.Use pipette suck 90% (225mL) suspensoid to another 500ml trigonal bottle. Dont shake and always sure that the top of pipette only under several mm of liquid level. Shake suspensoid in the trigonal bottle to homogeneous, suck some testing solution rapidly, test content of a.i. 5 Calculate The suspensibility X[%(m/m)] follow equal: 250 M2 X= X X 100 V M1 Where:
V the volume of testing, mL M1the quality of a.i. making suspensoid, g M2 the quality of a.i in V mL, g
