    CWA-at$t Mobility Bargaining Update for Tuesday, February 12, 2013

    Bargaining resumed today and it looks like nothing has changed since the contract expiration. The company once again rejected our proposals on Article 22-Vacations and Article 24-Excused Days with Pay; both which would have allowed for less restrictions and more flexibility. The company felt the need to once again stress how correcting their perceived absence problem was a top priority; however they still refuse to see how our proposals addressing the need for flexibility could help our members and the company. The Union presented proposals on Article 16-Safety; Article 19-Basis of Compensation and Letter of Agreement 12-Job Satisfaction. The Bargaining committee is on call and prepared to meet at any time of the day or night.
