February Vacation Calendar 2013 5
February Vacation Calendar 2013 5
Wondering how to make sure your children remain active, motivated, and happy during their time away from school? Have you made plans for your childs winter break? A week of fun activities are planned for February vacation in Fall River Ive put together this February school vacation calendar for the purpose of providing children and parents with events and activities during vacation so they stay stimulated, active and out of trouble. Each day during winter break, there will be exciting journeys of discovery throughout the city. February is National Chocolate Month so what better way to start vacation than with chocolate! Other events/activities will include guided cross country ski (if snow) and walking tours through the reservation, cooking lessons with a professional chef, scavenger hunts, storytelling with related activity, build a bear, character breakfast, build a marshmallow snowman, what is a snowflake, frozen bubbles (if its cold enough), build a human tree and learn how trees are good for the environment, plus much more. Because of my commitment to education, many events/activities will have an educational component incorporated in it so children will be learning at the same time they are being entertained. Most events require pre-registration so be sure to register if you want to attend. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children and share these exciting journeys of discovery! FAMILY TIME
Now that youve, hopefully, enjoyed a week of fun with your family and friends, its time to spend a quiet day with mom, dad, brothers and sisters. Education is the key to any successful city so as a strong advocate of education I hope all who attended one or more events enjoyed their time and most important learned a little something while having fun.
