Hoppy Father's Day Interactive Puppet Card

Make a fun "Hoppy Father's Day" puppet for Dad this Father's Day. This easy puppet project makes a great interactive card! Materials Paint Brushes 5 pack EZ Grip Item #21103 Washable Paint Bottles 6 pack Item #21037 Construction Paper Item #30373 Poster Paint Tempera 6 Pack Item #40925 Wiggly Eyes 150 pack Assorted Sizes Item #29400 Scissors Pencil Craft Glue 2 Paper Plates Instructions

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2.
Paint the back sides of (2) paper plates with green Poster Paint and put aside to dry.

Step 3.
Fold (1) paper plate in half and cut it down the middle.

Step 4.
Take your second green plate and place it on top of a black sheet of Construction Paper. Trace a circle.

Step 5.
Cut out the black circle and glue it to the un-painted side of the paper plate.

Step 6.
Fold the paper plate with the black circle in half. This will form the body and mouth of your frog. On the top and bottom part of your plate put glue around the edges.

Step 7.
Take the (2) paper plate halves from Step 3 and attach them to the glued edges. This will form a pocket where your hand can go to manipulate your frog.

Step 8.
Fold a piece of green Construction Paper in half then in half again. Draw a leg shape. While keeping the paper folded, cut out the shape. You should now have (4) green legs.

Step 9.
Cut out small circles out of the green Construction Paper and cut a long tongue out of red Construction Paper.

Step 10.
Glue the green circles and legs to the frog puppet. Add (2) Wiggly Eyes on top as shown.

Step 11.
Paint "Hoppy Father's Day" on the red tongue shape and glue it to the inside of the Frog's mouth.

You will be able to insert your hand within the puppet shape and put on a show for dad this Father's Day!
