    Wheelchair Access for School

    When people break their leg or sprain an ankle they might need a wheelchair. Our school has some problems with wheelchair access. We are trying to make that better. Here are some of the problems we found

    We need ramps in a lot of places including the fourth grade hall. Also, if you are in a wheelchair, you wont be able to open the door very well. Theyre too heavy. The band doors are too small. They need open all the way. Theres only one door open. The sixth grade bathroom also needs lower mirrors and paper towels. The gym stage is also a problem. It needs to have a ramp on one of the sides. The last thing is about recess. We need to have a ramp to get outside or they would be stuck! This project was on the story Another Veiw. It was about a kid who is disabled. A girl in the story wants to do a report on how he gets around. By: Mesa & Aleyna
