Scope of Practice Definition

Education Requirements Primary dental degree from a recognised dental school

Experience Requirements 3 years licensed clinical experience after graduation from primary degree

General scope of practice

Works within the SCHs definition of the practice of Dentistry and subject to any conditions set by the SCH

Examination Requirement s MLD licensing exam or recognised equivalent

Other Requirements Certificate of completion of recognised CPR course Blood test by the Qatari Medical Commission CGSs from every jurisdictions registered in within the past five years. Same as above

Immigration Requirements Letter of employment from an employer in Qatar Valid Qatari Resident Visa Police Clearance from Qatari Ministry of Interior

Supervision Requirements

Works under the supervision of a specialist registered dentist working in the same or similar scope of practice

Specialty scope of practice

Subject to any conditions set by the SCH may work: Within the SCHs definition of the scope of practice of dentistry Within a specialised area of dentistry for which they are deemed qualified by the SCH

Primary dental degree from a recognised dental school For surgical scopes of practice, board certification or equivalent in area of specialisation
