I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to :


KNOWLEDGE Identify which mouse function is appropriate for a specific buttons available on a program SKILLS Perform Speed Typing Test with the proper hand position using the keyboard. Type at least 10 NWP (Net Words per minute) ATTITUDES Exert more effort on how to increase the level of typing ability without breaking the rules on proper hand position.

III. MATERIALS Computers equipped with Paintbrush and GS Typing Test

Is it possible to meet 10 NWP in a specific time? C. Lesson Proper Lesson Content 1. Setup GS Typing Test to 10 minutes. 2. Show how to key in specific symbols that require holding the Shift Key. Show the slide with the image of Keyboard Show the appropriate use of CAPSLOCK and holding down the SHIFT key + the letter key Show how to key in specific symbols such as ( ) , : ;. ? ! that requires combination keys Hands-On Broadcast mode of Powerpoint Slides

3. Set GS Typing Test Article to A Chance of a

lifetime. For 10 minutes perform speed typing test. Get the score NWP and Accuracy

V. GENERALIZATION: In pressing the keyboard soft touch is enough. You dont have to press it hard because it will cost delay/shorten the score of net words per minute.

VI. VALUING: Practice makes perfect in familiarization of the key location on the keyboard.

VII. EVALUATION Perform Speed Typing Test for the first Time. Get the initial score of NWP and Accuracy Set the timer to 15 minutes. And perform Speed Typing Test. Get the score NWP and Accuracy.

VIII. ASSIGNMENT Practice shadow typing using a copy of a keyboard.
