    The Mental Health Clinical Supervision Supervisor Training program is a practical and comprehensive two day workshop that promotes a collaborative process-based generic supervision model. The training has been designed for novice to more experienced supervisors and is suitable for all mental health practitioners regardless of professional orientation, area of specialisation and service delivery model. At the completion of the training workshop participants should be able to: define what is meant by supervision develop a greater understanding and knowledge of the theoretical and practice components of supervision develop and enhance supervisors model of supervision and style of supervision outline and practice the seven focus points of supervision (Hawkins & Shohet, 2001) develop awareness of the stages through which supervision moves and the various types and points of intervention consider the roles of evaluation and feedback within the supervisory relationship and help supervisors develop supervision agreements
    Completing the Mental Health Clinical Supervision Training - Supervisor Training earns 6.5 ACMHN continuing professional education (CPE) points.

    This workshop provides 12 hours of active learning for continuing professional development.

    This workshop has been endorsed by APEC No 091023001 as authorised by Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) according to approved criteria..
