    Radio III - 3 x 5 Song Cards Project

    Using the music reference charts in class, hand-write (legibly) or type a list
    of 37 different currents (new songs). Label 1 – 37 and list the song title and
    artist for each of your 37 songs. Put your hotter songs at the top of your
    page. Do not use more than 3 songs from any one artist. Do NOT include
    any inappropriate words or topics in this assignment.

    Songs 1-10 are your HEAVY category songs.


    Songs 11-31 are your MEDIUM category songs.
    Songs 32-37 are your LIGHT category songs.

    Use the 3 x 5 card provided in class as you size template. Colored paper is
    stored in the cabinets in the major classroom. You will need 3 different
    colors. Cut out:
    10 (3 x 5) sheets for your Heavy songs
    21 (3 x 5) sheets for your Medium Songs
    6 (3 x 5) sheets for your Light songs

    Cut out as many 3 x 5 pieces as possible from one full size sheet. Do not
    waste paper.

    Write the Title and Artist of each of your 37 songs on the appropriate colored
    (3 x 5) piece of paper. Only one song per 3 x 5 piece of paper.

    Turn in:
    1. Your list of 37 songs (title & artist). Indicate the color of your Heavy,
    Medium and Light songs.
    2. Keep your Heavy, Medium and Light (3 x 5 paper) categories
    separate. Put a rubber band around each stack (do NOT staple!).

    Follow the all of the above directions and turn in your material by 3/2/09.
