What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
There are many different publishers that publish many different magazines. For example, Raider Publishing mainly publishes Rock and Roll magazines. I think for my magazine, Revelation, I would choose a publisher like IPC (The International Publishing Corporation) or InterMedia Partners who both publish Hip Hop and R&B magazines. The reason I have chose these is because it is important that your publishing company are the same genre and reach the same target audience as your magazine does. This then means that your magazine will reach your audience and be likely to sell and be successful. If I didnt pick a publishing company that was the same genre as mine, then my magazine may not be accessible to my target audience who would most likely want to buy the magazine.
