Contingency Plan

Actor: As the actor is needed for locations including Travelodge which is paid for, we cannot miss this filming day (11th March). Because of this, we have an actor on standby in case the actor is absent for filming. Crew: If crew are absent during filming, generally this is fine, as we have contingency filming days in place. One exception is when we film at Travelodge, where it must be filmed on 11th March. As it is essential to film on this day, we have extra crew in place that can film on this day. Location: Most of the locations are public, and we are allowed to film there, however if we get asked to move, we must do so. Due to this, we do have back up locations which we can use if things do not run accordingly. Time/ Weather: We have given sufficient time for filming to take place; however, we may not be able to film due to factors outside of our control. Due to this, all staff are aware of the contingency filming days, and they are asked to keep this days free. Time: We have booked out a camera for our contingency filming days. We done this, so the cameras arent fully booked if we needed a camera during our contingency days. If we film on the days intended, we will cancel the other filming days, and make this clear on the camera booking sheet so other people can book them out. If we dont cancel the extra bookings, we may be charged for not making the lenders aware. Time: Like with the above, we have contingency editing days in case we dont have enough time to edit the footage. Again, if it isnt needed, I must cancel on the booking sheet ASAP. Equipment: We have a spare battery for the camera, in case the first isnt fully charged, or doesnt want to work for some reason. Equipment: A spare DV tape will be kept on the shoot in case one gets full, or the first one gets damaged.
