Position Purpose Core Operations Specialist will ensure smooth operations & maintenance of Telenor Pakistan Core Network Elements.

Education & Professional Qualification B.E (Computer/Electrical/Electronics)

Experience

5-8 years relevent experience in Core networks

Key Responsibilities Responsible for regular Operations and Maintenance of Telenors Core Network Entities. Co-ordination with vendors for fault identification and rectification. Problem synthesis & reporting. Execution & Follow up of Work orders for expansion activities. Overall responsible for IREG technologies, safeguarding the IREG performance, provide IREG knowledge and provide corrective and preventive maintenance for IREG activities. Overall responsible to provide technical solution for complex IREG product/Network related issues. Analysis of signaling traces based on Core networks specification required to address Quality issues. Traffic report analysis in order to identify KPI deviation and capacity issues. Ensure TL9000/SLA compliance toward vendor as well as internal stakeholders. Ensure Smooth operation of Nexus network and enhancing its utilization for taking pro-active measures towards network Quality.

Excellent Understanding of NSS network architecture & its elements Good understanding of GSM/UMTS Standards. Good knowledge of various Core Vendor products and solutions. knowledge of IP network design, Implementation & Operations Excellent Knowledge of 3GPP recommendations of core network & its protocols. Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized. Goal oriented with focus on deliverables. Ensuring NSS network availability 99.999% Pro-active approach towards fault identification by devising preventive maintenance routines. Well structured approach in tackling work assignments. Ability to work independently under demanding situations. Good interpersonal skills. Direct and open communication.
