main attributes? How is a project different from what most people do in their day-to-day jobs? What other factors affect a project?

Projects can be defined as temporary rather than permanent social systems that are constituted by teams within or across organizations to accomplish particular tasks under time constraints. A project has a unique purpose which has a well-defined objective. For example, give a unique product and services to the customer to fulfill their requirements and achieve the target. A project is temporary. A defined beginning and a definite end to form a team-work on the collaboration multimedia project. Expert a report and executive presentation of the results. A project requires resources, often various areas. Each of the resources contributes different and important functions for a project. The resources include people, hardware, software and other assets. The collaboration of projects is not only for IT department but also from sales, marketing, finance , investments and other areas of the company to develop better ideas. A project should have primary sponsor or customer. A program is a group of project managed in a coordinated way. A project involves uncertainty. It is because every project is unique, difficult to clearly defines project's objective, or how much it will cost. The uncertainty is why a project management is so challenging, especially involve new technologies. Projects are different from day-to-day activities because they have focused goals and definite beginning and ending dates. Operation is work done of day-to-day activities to sustain the business while projects end when their objectives have been reached or when project has been terminated to the customer or user. The first factor is triple constraint (3C) + quality. 3C represents scope goals, time goals and cost goals. Work done with 3C + quality to satisfy the project sponsor. Scope management involve defining and managing all the work required to successfully complete the project. Time management includes estimation how long it will take to complete the work, developing an acceptable project schedule, and ensuring timely completion of the project. Cost management consists of preparing and managing the budget of the project. Quality management ensures the project will satisfy the stated or implied needs for which it was undertaken.
