Say Boo to Drugs!!

Red Ribbon Week: Doubek Elementary Event Schedule: October 17th-21st, 2011

Monday, October 17: Red Ribbon Kick-Off: Teachers will discuss the meaning and purpose of Red Ribbon Week with their students. Tuesday, October 18: Wear Red Day: Students and staff are invited to wear Red to show their support for Red Ribbon Week and to show that they are Drug Free and Healthy! Wednesday, October 19: School Spirit Day: Show support for Red Ribbon Week and our Say Boo to Drugs message by dressing in orange and black today! Friday, October 21: Say Boo to Drugs Day: Dont forget to wear your Doubek Dalmatians shirt to show that we make respectful, responsible, safe, and caring choices. There will be an assembly with a positive choices message at 8:30am in the Doubek gym for all students junior kindergarten through first grades. Afternoon junior kindergarten students are welcome to attend with a parent. All classrooms will be visited throughout the day by our schools police liaison officer, Officer Rhode.

*Throughout the week, students will hear about Red Ribbon Week during guidance lessons, and/or classroom activities.
