Music Therapy For The Mind

Dear Parents of Neff Elementary Our names are Yensi Ayala and Ruth Tovar, we are seniors from Sharpstown International School. We are working on a capstone project that will be dealing with students music interaction and how it affects students academic skills. We are trying to make an after school club to work with a group of students and prove that being involved in music can actually help kids improve their math and science skills. We would love to work with your child in our after school club and have fun playing music in piano. If you are interested for your child to have experience in playing music this would be a very good opportunity. The club will be two times a week for only one month due to deadlines. Ms. Burrus the music teacher, Mr. Morris the high school music teahcer and Mr. Gandhi your childs school principal will be the ones involved with our club. The club will also take place in your childs school so there wont be any problems in your child leaving the school campus.
