Heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, or other adjustable speed motor drives fed by single-phase utility power.

Principle of Hysteresis Control


The polarity of diL/dt can be controlled when | vs| > VO - Vdc is satisfied. Thus the series inverter with enough dc voltage is able to make the line current follow the desired reference and limit the harmonic component of the line current.
