    In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

    Ayub (peace be upon him) in The Quran


    __________________________________________________________

    Verily, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW) as We inspired Nooh (Noah) and the
    Prophets after him; We (also) inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac),
    Yaqoob (Jacob), and AlAsbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job),
    Yoonus (Jonah), Haroon (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawood (David) We gave
    the Zaboor (Psalms). [004:163]

    And We bestowed upon him Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), each of them We guided,
    and before him, We guided Nooh (Noah), and among his progeny Dawood (David),
    Sulaiman (Solomon), Ayub (Job), Yoosuf (Joseph), Moosa (Moses), and Haroon (Aaron). Thus
    do We reward the gooddoers. [006:084]

    And (remember) Ayoob (Job), when he cried to his Lord: “Verily, distress has seized me, and
    You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy.” [021:083]

    So We answered his call, and We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored
    his family to him, and the like thereof along with them, as a mercy from Ourselves and a
    Reminder for all who worship Us. [021:084]

    And remember Our slave Ayoob (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): “Verily! Shaitan
    (Satan) has touched me with distress and torment! [038:041]

    (Allah said to him): “Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in,
    cool and a drink.” [038:042]

    And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from
    Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. [038:043]

    “And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith, and break not your oath
    . Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in
    repentance! [038:044]

    I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His
    servant and messenger
