NO LATER THAN FRIDAY BEFORE BREAK: you should have deposited at least 5 of your required 8 poem drafts in your Dropbox folder for checkoff. OVER BREAK: review craft analysis assignment and read either ch. 8 Creative Nonfiction or 9 Fiction, depending on which genre youre most interested in writing in (your chosen piece for the prose craft analysis should be in the same genre that most interests you as a writer). Begin working on a draft of the prose craft analysis essay. Bring notes and materials to class Tuesday following break for in-class writing.

WEEK TEN [OPTIONAL OUT-OF-CLASS CRAFT ANALYSIS CONSULTATIONS] T 19 Mar [PAT LYNCH] Discussion and in-class writing toward prose craft analysis essays. FNT: EVERYONE prepares for playbook (IV) check-off. Deposit your Craft Analysis draft in your Dropbox folder for this class no later than 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning so I can take a quick look before class. Bring 2 copies of your Craft Analysis essay to class for workshop. R 21 Mar [ALAINA ALLEN] PB (IV) check-off. Group A PB (IV) selections due to me. Craft analysis essay workshop. FNT: Craft Analysis essay due in your Dropbox folder prior to class time. Bring materials to class for prose mining exercises.

Group A PB (V) selections (second prose drafts) due to me. EVERYONE needs to deposit their second prose drafts in their Dropbox folders prior to class time on Thursday for check-off (this does not

count as the playbook check-offI just want to make sure everyone has the same amount of time to come up with a prose draft). Also, read the work posted in Weebly (go to the Schedule tab, then the corresponding week sub-tab) for the next sharing workshop. IMPORTANT NOTE: no later than 5 p.m. the day before you are assigned to read for sharing workshop, drop the piece you will be sharing from in your Dropbox folder. Label it yourlastname workshop. This can be one of the pieces youve already droppedif so, just make sure to re-label it. Assuming Weebly cooperates, Ill post your work under the corresponding schedule tab (I will remove as soon as workshop is complete). This will give everyone time to read the work prior to class time.
