You see the light entering through the wide open windows and hitting the clear mirror

that reflects it to the ground, you see me standing at the edge where shade meets light teetering on the indistinct border, to and fro, to and fro; Let me dance in the shadows at times when the light is too strong. Let me dance in the shadows if the light rejects me. Ill walk away, a swirl into my world of shadows, tippity-tapping my way to my own light. Everythings fine as long as the hearts beat continues, no need for whosayswhat. Let me dance in the shadows when the light is faint and faded. The people come and go, stop momentarily and say, Come on, the light will soon be gone. But Ill stay, and continue to move to the steps of the still thumping hearts beat. So let me dance in the shadows even when the darks all that remains.
