Math: In math we just finished Unit 6.

This unit covered geometry. We will start on Unit 7 this week. This unit will cover Multiplication and Division. We will be focusing on how they are related to each other. This week we will test on 3s. To be successful, your child must practice facts at home and turn in their mad minute sheets daily. A minimum of 2 per week in required. Science: Our science unit is on plants and animals. We will be learning what plants need to survive and how animals adapt to their environment.

At the beginning of March, all district 3rd graders will be taking a short reasoning test. The test will take approximately 30 minutes and is administered with the classroom teacher present. The results of this test will provide classroom teachers and administrators with a benchmark for educational programming and are also used as a screening instrument for the gifted and talented program. Our test date is Mar. 7th.

Social Studies: We have studied
