FAQs
What goes in the abstract submission? Do I need to have my abstract to be accepted to apply?
Abstract are <1 page total. One paragraph on what your research is and what need it addresses. One paragraph on path to commercialization, market, competition. Answers do not have to be perfect, this is just to get you to start thinking about the topics going on the poster but abstract will be evaluated and accepted before poster submission.
Yes, but please modify them to cover the required topics. This competition is NOT for a research-only presentation.

Can I use old posters, such as from conferences?

Do I have to be a graduate student in science or engineering? What should I include in my poster?

NO! Anyone doing research, including undergrads or postdocs, that has a real world impact and can be commercialized

Attend workshop, look at website for required material to include and judging rubric. I will follow up with abstract submitters. Eg. research topic, need, competitive advantage, market, etc.
