Meeting at Perpustakaan Awam BDA. Agreed to visit Taman Tumbina Bintulu on 4 March 2012, Sunday. Gather at the ticketing booth at 8am. A draft of the objectives and activities was done. The secretary has to make a report after the visit.

On the 4th of March 2012, our group BCN1 consisted of 29 teachers had visited Taman Tumbina Bintulu. The visit started from 8am till 11am. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the flora and fauna that can be found in Taman Tumbina. Besides, we also took photographs of flora and fauna for use as teaching aids in school. At 8am, all the participants assembled at the ticketing booth for a short briefing of the visit. Then, the teachers were instructed to record the characteristics of flora and fauna into the data collection form. Photographs were taken for each of flora and fauna. The teachers were happy with the visit. The visit created awareness and understanding of the environment we live in. Some of the flora and fauna that we saw in Taman Tumbina cannot be found in our forest any more. The data and photographs would be combined into a multimedia presentation to teach students on their responsibilities of taking care of our future environment.
