RESEARCH TOPIC- Growth of life insurance business in bareilly. A study with ICICI Life Insurance.

INTRODUCTION-

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company is a joint venture between ICICI Bank, one of the foremost financial services companies of India and Prudential plc, one of the leading international financial services group headquartered in the United Kingdom. ICICI Prudential was amongst the first private sector life insurance companies to begin operations in December 2000 after receiving approval from Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA). Studies of Growth of life I 1. Identification of customers and 2. Their buying behaviour patterns. The aim of such studies is to ascertain who buys where, what, when and how. In addition, such studies endeavour to learn about customer response to sales promotion devices. The results of these studies are useful in the solution of an array of marketing problems. These studies are gaining importance in marketing research now a day.

SCOPE- This study would be applicable in finding out major competitors, market share, and consumer behaviour in selected region and understand various factors affecting the customer choice while purchasing. OBJECTIVES- They are as follows1. Identifying the factors affecting customer preferences for selected retail outlets. 2.
