Hilton Hotels & Resorts cares deeply about our environment and protecting our planet and its

resources. On Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 more than one billion people around the world will come together to call for action on climate change by doing something very simpleturning off their lights for one hour. At 8:30pm local time we will join millions of people around the world in turning off all non-essential lighting for one hour. This simple gesture makes a bold statement about the concern for climate change. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) developed Earth Hour as a way to raise awareness among the general public about climate change, and to convey that by working together, each of us can have a positive impact. Hilton Toronto Team Members are proud to participate in Earth Hour and invite our valued Guests, to join us and Hilton Guests around the world in this important effort. Each one of us has a stake in the future of our planet and can help protect our worlds limited natural resources. Hilton Hotels & Resorts is committed to reducing energy consumption from direct operations, CO2 emissions, output of waste and water consumption, and is working to minimize the environmental footprint of our more than 530 hotels and resorts in 76 countries.
