LGBT people are a cancer that will soon infect the whole of Brunel
Avan Mahmood, 21, student, Enbrook Street I disagree with the comment as living in the society that we live in today, we should respect each individual for who they are despite the fact that as a muslim, I disagree with the idea of homosexuality, but at the end of the day nobody should be spoken to with such little regard and respect.

Maxie Earle, 19, student, Chepstow Halls I think its disgraceful if anything, one of my family members is homosexual, and I think if anyone was to disagree with the way in which she lives her life, then perhaps their opinion should be kept to themselves.

Lisa Boyles, 21, Chair of Dance at Brunel, Cowley Road Theyre not very educated I think, and if you fight for equality for one thing, you should fight for equality for all things regardless of whether its race, religion, sexuality, gender, etc.

Matt Cahill, 19, Chair of RAG, Braybourne close I think that such a comment is full of hate, and is horrible and I dont know if its a reflection of himself or his (Brunel) society, but definitely a really horrid thing to say about people, especially on a night of high emotions and happiness

Peter Smallwood, 23, Vice President of Academic Representation, Victoria Road, Ruislip The union has a strong quality and diversity policy that without restriction ensures that our members regardless of their sexuality have a right to operate and feel safe in the university environment. I do not agree with the statement in anyway, and as someone said before if we are a cancer, then we better get spreading.
