As she ‫ﭼﻮن ﺗﺎ ﺷﺮوع ﭘﺮواز ﻣﺠﺒﻮر‬
would have ‫ ﺗﺼﻤﻴﻢ ﮔﺮﻓﺖ‬،‫ﺑﻮد ﺻﺒﺮ ﻛﻨﺪ‬
to wait for ‫ﻛﻪ ﺑﺮاي ﮔﺬراﻧﺪن وﻗﺖ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﻲ‬
many hours, ‫ ﻫﻤﭽﻨﻴﻦ ﻳﻚ ﻣﻘﺪار‬.‫ﺑﺨﺮد‬
she decided .‫ﻛﻠﻮﭼﻪ ﻫﻢ ﺧﺮﻳﺪ‬
to buy a
book to
spend her
time. She
also brought
a packet of
cookies.
‫ رﻓﺖ ﺗﺎ ﺑﺎ‬VIP ‫ﺳﭙﺲ ﺑﻪ اﺗﺎق‬
.‫آراﻣﺶ ﻣﺸﻐﻮل ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ ﺷﻮد‬

She sat down on

an armchair, in
the VIP room of
the airport, to rest
and read in
peace.
 ‫ﻛﻨﺎر او ﻳﻚ ﭘﺎﻛﺖ ﻛﻠﻮﭼﻪ‬
‫ﺑﻮد و ﻣﺮدي در ﺣﺎل ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ‬
.‫ﻧﺸﺴﺘﻪ ﺑﻮد‬

Beside her there

was a packet of
cookies and a
man sat down,
opened his
magazine and
started reading.
When she took the first cookie,
the man took one too.
She felt infuriated but didn’t
say anything. She just thought:
“What a nerve! If I was in a bad
mood I would punch his eye so
that he never dares again!”

‫اﻳﻦ ﺑﺎﻋﺚ ﻋﺼﺒﺎﻧﻴﺖ ﺑﻴﺶ از ﭘﻴﺶ‬
‫او ﻣﻲ ﺷﺪ وﻟﻲ ﻧﻤﻲ ﺧﻮاﺳﺖ‬
.‫واﻛﻨﺸﻲ ﻧﺸﺎن دﻫﺪ‬

Whenever she took a

cookie, the man too
helped himself with
another cookie
That made her angry
all the more, but
didnt want to react
‫‪When only one cookie‬‬
‫‪remained, she thought: “ah...‬‬

‫در ﻫﻤﻴﻦ ﺣﺎل ﻣﺮد ﻛﻠﻮﭼﻪ را ﻧﺼﻒ ﻛﺮد و ﻳﻚ‬
‫ﺗﻜﻪ ﺑﻪ دﺧﺘﺮ داد و ﻳﻚ ﺗﻜﻪ را ﺧﻮدش ﺧﻮرد‪.‬‬
 Ah! That was too much!
She was too angry!
Then, she took her book, her things and headed straight to
the boarding area.

‫ دﻳﮕﻪ ﺗﺤﻤﻞ ﻛﺮدﻧﺶ ﺳﺨﺘﻪ‬،‫اه‬

‫دﺧﺘﺮ ﺧﻴﻠﻲ ﻋﺼﺒﺎﻧﻲ ﺑﻮد‬
‫ﻛﺘﺎﺑﺶ را ﺑﺮداﺷﺖ و ﺑﻼﻓﺎﺻﻠﻪ ﺑﻪ ﺳﻤﺖ ﺳﺎﻟﻦ ﺗﺮاﻧﺰﻳﺖ ﺑﻪ راه اﻓﺘﺎد‬
When she sat down
inside the plane, she
looked into her purse
to take her eyeglasses,
and, to her surprise,
her packet of cookies
was there, untouched,
closed!

‫ﺑﻴﺮون ﺑﻴﺎورد ﻛﻪ در ﻛﻤﺎل ﺗﻌﺠﺐ‬
‫ﭘﺎﻛﺖ ﻛﻠﻮﭼﻪ ﻫﺎﻳﺶ را دﺳﺖ‬
‫ﻧﺨﻮرده در ﻛﻴﻔﺶ دﻳﺪ‬
 She felt
ashamed!!
She realized
that she was
the bad
one...
She had
forgotten
that her
cookies
were kept in
her purse.

without feeling ......
infuriated, nervous
or mad...
