How to Calculate your Show Prot

The Hostess Pays For :

shipping @ $4 1/2 priced items @ the price amount overages on free credit tax on the $4 shipping tax on the value of her free jewelry @ retail tax on her price jewelry @ the price amount

The Customer Pays For:

The jewelry @ the price you charged customer (retail price or discounted price if you offered a special) $4 shipping tax on jewelry at price you charged @ the Hostess tax rate (where the jewelry will be delivered) tax on $4 shipping @ Hostess rate

Your Profit:
jewelry sold (not including tax & shipping) at price you charged minus wholesale value of the item/s (50% of retail cost) minus Jeweler share to submit the show (usually $8) and Jeweler shares for bonuses earned by Hostess (usually $3 apiece).

Beware a common mistake: Do not add total payments received (which includes tax and shipping) and divide by 2 (or multiply by 50%). A Jewelers 50% profit is based on customer jewelry sales only.jewelry sold at the price you charged the customer minus wholesale (50% of retail) of each item.
