Mt. Pleasant Corporation Appoints New President The Mt. Pleasant Corporations board of directors announced Harvey Wilsoon will replace Adam Smith as the companys president Monday, Feb. 4. Smith is retiring from his position, which he held for 15 years. Wilsoon is the former executive vice president of Knox Company, a developer of suburban shopping malls. He has also served as the chief financial officer of several construction firms including Krupp Company, which brands hotels around the globe. Wilsoon, 52, has a bachelors degree from the University of Washington and received his MBA from Stanford University. He lives in Arlington Heights, Ill., and is moving to Mt. Pleasant next month.

MPC New President p. 2 Wilsoon has been a member of the National Accounting Association and was formerly on the board, the Illinois Business Round Table, the Chicago Sailing Club and the Chicago Athletic Club. He also is married and has two children in college. The Mt. Pleasant Corporation, located in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., is a diversified commercial real estate company that owns a number of office parks across the country. The company also manages 22 other business properties across the nation.
