City Aquatics Department May 2012 to Present

Pool Manager o I am responsible for overseeing the performance of staff, am in charge of the monthly scheduling, and holding bi-weekly in-service meetings. I assist in hiring and evaluating staff, make the schedule each month for a staff of over 20 people, and implement and evaluate bi-weekly in-services.Nightly, I ensure thatfacility cleaning duties are completed. May 2012 to Present Swimming Lesson Deck Supervisor/ Certified Water Safety/Swimming Lesson Instructor o I am responsible for instructors teaching swimming lessons, managing the rosters and getting all participants off the wait-list. I oversee the progress and performance of both instructors and participants. I am also responsible for setting up one-on-one lessons with a single instructor and participant. May 2008 to August 2011 Head Life Guard o I was responsible for keeping pool patrons safe, enforcing pool rules, cleaning the facility, and performing first aid. I also held a leadership position. I supervised a team of 15 other lifeguards, organized and led weekly meetings, assigned numerous duties on a daily basis, and dealt with patron relations by answering questions and solving problems.
