    The Armed Forces Sinners Prayer

    Dear heavenly Father, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I have been living in sin without You. Without You, my life is empty and depraved. I have followed the sins of my youth, and the sins of my own thinking and actions. I have cared more about myself than about You and others. I believe Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son. I believe He is God, who came in the flesh. I believe He rose from the dead And in Him, only, is eternal life granted. I earnestly implore you to save me from my sins. Please forgive me for sinning Against You, against others, and against my own conscience. Strengthen me to live a holy life. Search my heart, O God. Cleanse my heart from every evil desire. Create in me a clean heart. Renew my spirit. Let me thirst no more. But give me the longing to fulfill Your will And hunger after only righteousness. Lead me to live according to the Scriptures. When I fall, pick me up. Keep me in Your will. Now, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
