The Daily 5 literacy structure and Envision Math curriculum into my own lessons and activities. Participated in the schools Bring Your Own Device program, in which students brought in their own iPad, iPod, Kindle, etc., as an extension to their learning in the classroom one day per week. Adapted instruction to meet the needs of the students, using both formal and informal assessment techniques daily to guide my instruction. Continually met with and worked alongside cooperating teacher and supervisor to receive feedback, and to make sure all requirements were being fulfilled appropriately. Attended all faculty, grade-level planning, and technology skills meetings, as well as participated in several parent-teacher conferences. Taught in whole-group, small-group, and one-on-one settings, providing daily smallgroup intervention lessons in both mathematics and reading. Performed progress monitoring using EasyCBM for both mathematics and language arts.

Supervised a class of 18 first grade students, providing and reflecting upon my own classroom management tactics and instructional strategies. Worked closely with the cooperating classroom teacher, incorporating the FOSS science modules and Investigations mathematics curriculum into my own lessons and activities. October November 2011 Crafted small-group and whole-group language arts lesson plans for a third grade classroom, incorporating guided reading, read-aloud, and other components of a balanced literacy program.
