A sonnet is a poem that consists of 14 lines, has a strict rhyme scheme, and is written in iambic pentameter.

Sonnets are very popular during Shakespeares lifetime. Inside this collection are sonnets composed by a group of students of grade 8 of Ekamai International School. They wanted to express their love for a specific person through combinations of carefully chosen words and by composing them into a form of Shakespearean love sonnet. Though not as perfect, these sonnets strongly reveal each students love for that special person.

Love Sonnet
Shall I compare you to lands of nature Which provide a seed of flower to grow It was a little seed of lavender Not strong, not bold, and flies when the wind blow But then it land on the mighty nature That protect the flower when rain splashes loud So the flower could stand mighty and pure Now the lavender has grown pure and proud Even storms, fire, or any power Couldnt even separate us good friend All natures and the lavender flower We need each other to live till the end Thank for being everything for me to Care, trust, think of, and forever love you

The World Between Us

Shall I compare you to the world Youre a tough ground that cares for me Youre a fierce wind that always swirl Youre a ocean that flows to thee A sea that carries my heart All around the beautiful earth Same as you, my sexy girl-so smart Your happiness has brought me mirth A sea that crashes to the land Like we two kissing in the night Romantically holding hands To the second star to the right And this sonnet written for you In this world together us two
