Teacher Panel Logic Model Goal: The goal of the teacher panel is to help foster a culture at D.S.

Johnson that is centered on asset building rather than one of deficit thinking. Strategies
Reach out to teachers who have taught or are currently teaching at schools with similar student demographics as D.S. Johnson

Objectives
To increase the potential of buy-in and receptiveness of information by the Johnson staff

Ultimate Goal
To provide the staff of D.S. Johnson with an additional network of support

Survey the staff of D.S. Johnson to gauge level of interest

To help identify teacher leaders of D.S. Johnson and individuals committed to the turnaround process

Staff members of D.S. Johnson will feel more empowered and inspired to implement vital behaviors that are conducive to success

Include teachers that will create a diverse panel (years of experience, age, gender, ethnicity)

Provide highly effective NRMS teachers with another platform to share their expertise

Nucleus of returning teacher leaders will act as advocates and cheerleaders for D.S. Johnson
