Remove the default sim ( airtel ) from you modem and connect modem to your com puter , male sure its connected properly 2.Software will be open automatically , you need to close the default software , and need to instal mobile partner dashboard update to you modem ( if you have already installed no problem , just close the application ) for download the latest version of mobile partner click here 3.Install and update mobile partner to your modem , and remove the default appli cation , and remove its all files from c drive , then restart your system , and connect your modem again then it asks for install new mobile partner , its the universal application from huawei, 4.After the instalation check the modem is properly connected, then close the ap plication , dont remove modem

5.open the second file its the unlocked firmware for E1731 that can be downloade d from here , OR mirror (Download)and install this firmware to your modem , if the instalation asks for a password put your flash code as the password, this instalation completes and your modem unlocked for permenantly
