ANCHOR Community Council Executive Board Election Packet 2013-2014

Eligibility: Must be in good judicial standing in accordance with the Student Housing Handbook. Must have minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA. Must be a current resident; OR have been a resident in the past OR be a current Fredrick Meijer Honors College student in good standing (please note that current non-residents must complete a housing agreement form if elected to an executive board position). Must maintain a mature and professional Facebook/Myspace/Twitter etc. This means there must be no evidence or glorification of drug use or underage drinking; such evidence may lead to ineligibility.

Application: Applicants must sign the agreement. The ANCHOR executive board members will review all applications. A completed application must be submitted by 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. A resume is recommended, but not required.

Poster Campaigning: All campaigning may begin once the application has been reviewed on April 3, 2013. Slander or libel against any candidate will not be tolerated. This will result in immediate disqualification from the election. All campaign materials must be entirely removed from all hall lobbies by the candidate after the election.

Elections: Elections will be held online from Wednesday, April 3 to Tuesday, April 9 at 5pm. Each resident may only vote once, and all votes will remain confidential. The candidate with the highest vote tally will be elected.
