Dennis Friends, I was reflecting on the wonderful Mass and reception you hosted on my behalf this past weekend. In my 25 years at St. Dennis, I have been touched countless times by your kindness, love and generosity. This past weekend was an evening I will cherish always. I have been blessed to be part of this loving, supportive community, and my teaching years have brought me countless hours of joy. I sincerely appreciate my students, their families, my colleagues and staff and all the parishioners for honoring me in this special way. I am truly blessed. Much Love, Mrs. Barbara Geil

SACRAMENTS Dear Family, Happy Easter! Happy Resurrection Day! All of earth and heaven rejoice today because Jesus Christ our brother and savior is risen from the dead. This incredible news is as alive today as it was 2,000 years ago! With the Resurrection comes Gods power to us in the form of the Holy Spirit. With expectant faith in the resurrection and the Holy Spirit, the darkness of our lives whether it be stress, fears, losses, uncertainty, grief, illness and separation, can be lifted and healed by the awesome light that comes from the empty tomb. I know for some of you, this might just seem like religious words, but I believe in the depth of my heart that your life can be transformed. Pause and pray right now for Jesus who is resurrected to save you, heal you and transform your life. Trust and have faith in Jesus who gave everything, even His life, that you might have everything and eternal life. Alleluia! Alleluia! He is Risen! In the Lords Love, Fr. Therefore Easter is not simply one feast among others, but the Feast of feasts, the Solemnity of solemnities, just as the Eucharist is the Sacrament of sacraments (the Great Sacrament). St. Athanasius calls Easter the Great Sunday and the Eastern Churches call Holy Week the Great Week. The mystery of the Resurrection, in which Christ crushed death, permeates with its powerful energy our old time, until all is subjected to him.
