Turlian Turlians are a group of humanoids who revere turtles as embodiments of their deity.

They follow teachings of patience and protection. Killing turtle or turtle like animals in front of a Turlian has been known to cause death as they kill any one who does so. They do use shells of dead giant turtles as roofs if they do not have one they create turtle like shell domes as homes. The leader of a tribe is split between three individuals a chief, the controller of the military, a priest, the religious leader, and a shaman, the teacher and magic guidance. Turlians appear to be normal humans but as a general they are tougher. Humanoid(Turlian) Medium size Slow: Turlians move at twenty feet but are not slowed by medium and heavy armor. +2 Constitution, +2 Wisdom and -2 dexterity: Turlians are tough and have great instincts but have slow reflexes. Language: Common. Bonus: Elven, Draconic, Dwarven, Aquan, Goblin, Terran and Orc. Hardy: Turlians gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison, spells, and spell-like abilities. Swim: Turlians have a swim speed of 30 feet and gain the +8 racial bonus on Swim checks that a swim speed normally grants. Low-light vision: Turlians can see twice as far as humans in dim light. Resistant: Turlians gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting effects and poison. Hold breath: Turlians can hold their breath for a number of rounds equal to four times their Constitution score before risking drowning or suffocating.
