JEWEL THEFT ALARM BLOCK DIAGRAM

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

An anti-theft system is any device or method used to prevent or deter the unauthorized appropriation of items considered valuable. Theft is one of the most common and oldest criminal behaviors. Here we use a electronic locker theft alarm system which produces an alarm sound if any un-authorized person tries to open the locker box. Inside the locker box a Hall-effect sensor is mounted on one side and a bar magnet is placed near to the sensor on another side. During closed condition the output from the sensor is high which keeps the alarm circuit in off state. The alarm circuit consists of a transistor which controls a buzzer. When the box is opened, the alarm is triggered by a low signal from the Hall Effect sensor. Thus the theft can be prevented. If the owner tries to open the box a override switch is placed at some other safe place which deactivates the alarm.
