    Olympics
    Affectionately known as Birds Nest, it is situated in Olympic Green Village, Chaoyang District. It was designed as the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Olympic events of track and field, football, gavelock, weight throw and discus were held there. Since October, 2008, after the Olympics ended, it has been opened as a tourist attraction.

    Education
    Beijing is home to a great number of colleges and universities, including several well-regarded universities of international stature. Owing to Beijings status as the political and cultural capital of China, a larger proportion of tertiary-level institutions are concentrated here than in any other city in China, reaching at least 70 in number.

    Beijing is a metropolis in northern China and the capital of China. It is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and motorways passing through the city. Beijing is regarded as the political, educational, and cultural center of China.

    Population
    Beijings population has exceeded 22 million from November 2010 raised, with migrants from other China provinces, primarily contribute to the rapid growth. Beijings annual average population growth of 3.8 percent over the past 10 years has outpaced the national average of 0.57 percent, said the statement.
