Short description: To upgrade the firmware of SRV Bladecenter AMM.

Reason for change: We have sent AMM service data logs IBM to resolve CTX issue, however they have confirmed that the blade center management module is 4 years old and it (AMM) has to upgrade to resolve the blade (ctx) issue. Impact details: No user impact and no impact to the servers running on the blades as confirmed by IBM. The latest firmware is located on SRV at the below location: C:\Documents and Settings\kauthimo\My Documents\IBM AMM\ibm_fw_amm_bpet54p_anyos_noarch

Steps to upgrade the firmware: 1) Logon to http://rsa-/private/main.ssi using IE using admin credentials.
2) In the navigation frame, click MM Firmware Update under MM ControL 3) Select CNETCMUS.PKT and click Update button. 4) A progress indicator opens as the file is transferred to temporary storage on the Advanced Management Module. A confirmation page opens when the file transfer is completed. 5) To complete the update process, click Continue. A progress indicator opens as the firmware on the Advanced Management Module is flashed. A confirmation page opens to verify that the update was successful. 6) After receiving a confirmation that the update process is complete, a. Click the option "Restart MM" and click the Restart button. b. Click OK to confirm that you want to restart the Management Module. NOTE: Restarting the Advanced Management Module will disconnect your current session. 7) Click OK to close the current browser window. 8) To log into Advanced Management Module again, open your browser and follow regular login process.
